Accommodation

Our 5 unique holiday cottages are named after the overlooking granite tors. They are all tastefully furnished and well-equipped to a high standard. The kitchens comes with a full-size cooker, microwave oven, fridge and freezer for home cooking, whilst the cosy living areas come with a TV/DVD player. Honeybags Cottage also boasts a toasty wood burner.

Honeybags Cottage:

This delightful cottage sleeps 1-6 people in a family room with a double and adult-sized bunk beds, plus a twin room. The rooms share a bathroom. Outside there is a garden with a picnic bench, great for a coffee in the morning sun.

Chinkwell:

Our first-floor converted coach house is accessed via an outside granite staircase. The accommodation sleeps 1-4 people in a double and twin. Both rooms share a bathroom.

Lower Chinkwell:

This ground-floor converted stable is suitable for people with disabilities. The accommodation sleeps 1-4 people in a double and twin room. Both rooms share a bathroom with room with a wheelchair to turn.

Hameldown:

Our first-floor converted coach house is accessed via an outside granite staircase. The accommodation sleeps 1-6 people in a family bedroom with a double, single bed and pull-out single. The room comes with en suite facilities and there is also a double room and main bathroom.

Lower Hameldown:

This ground-floor converted stable offers level entrances from Wooder Manor and Wooder Farm side into the large kitchen/lounge/diner. The accommodation sleeps 1-4 people in a double en suite room with disabled facilities a second bedroom with a double bed and en suite facilities.

Visting Widecombe in the Moor & Exploring Devon:

We are in a central location for exploring Dartmoor and a range of excellent attractions in the area. Right on our doorstep are lots of gorgeous walking routes. Brilliant activities in the area include: horse riding, cycling, canoeing, fishing, golf, rock climbing, painting and bird watching. Great attractions to visit include:
