Bleng Barn Cottage offers charming self catering accommodation near Gosforth, set on a working livestock farm. We are only 1.5 miles from Wasdale and perfect for a relaxing break in Cumbria.

The cottage sleeps up to 8 people and is great for a family or group holiday.

Inside the cottage is an open plan living area with comfy seating and a smart TV with FreeSat. Rustle up some delicious dishes in the fully-equipped kitchen that comes with a range of appliances: electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. You can savour some delicious meals around the dining table.

Three bedrooms are available. All the rooms can be made as a super king double or twin. All the rooms come with quality bed linen. A ground floor shower room comes with a shower over bath.

Outside there is patio area with a hot tub to soak yourself in whilst savouring the setting. A table and chairs are provided for al fresco dining when the sun is shining.

Visit Wasdale in the Lake District, where towering mountains surround Wastwater, England’s deepest lake and Scafell, the country’s highest peak, offers unforgettable adventures. It is also home to England’s smallest church. Nearby Seascale features long sandy beaches, a scenic golf course and a world-class ice cream bar. Also worth exploring are Muncaster Castle and the coastal town of Whitehaven, known for its attractive harbour, museums and family-friendly attractions.
