1 Browns Farmhouse offers self catering accommodation in the hamlet of Woolston, located in the South Hams, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our cottage in Devon is midway between Kingsbridge and Salcombe, ideal for a family or group looking for somewhere special to stay.

Accommodation

Our cottage is great for a relaxing and peaceful holiday in a countryside setting. The cottage is tastefully furnished and comes with a range of facilities to suit all your needs.

Downstairs there is a cosy sitting/dining room with an electric fire, TV, DVD player, radio, toys, games and library. A well-equipped kitchen includes an electric cooker, iron, microwave, fridge, washing machine, tumble drier, airing cupboard and larder. A newly refurbished bathroom with an electric shower over the bath is also on the ground floor.

Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms: a room with a king and single bed and a twin room. Both rooms offer lovely garden views. Linen and towels are provided, please bring beach towels.

Outside there are 2 acres of garden with a stream, orchard and field. A summerhouse comes with outdoors games and picnic tables are dotted around, perfect for a glass of wine in the afternoon sun.

Visiting Woolston & Exploring Devon

We are in a fantastic position for exploring the area. Salcombe is only 3 miles away and offers one of the most scenic harbours in the country. The town has lots of wonderful seafood restaurants, safe sandy beaches, beautiful walking routes and boat hire is available. Kingsbridge is 3 miles away and includes 2 large supermarkets, a variety of shops, a cinema, restaurants, cafes, a weekly market, recreation grounds, waterside area and sports centre with a swimming pool. Further attractions to visit include:

Kingsbridge Estuary.
Overbeck's Garden.
SW coast path.
Over 20 beaches.
Dartmoor.
