Situated right in the middle of Boscastle, Melbourne Cottage offers delightful accommodation for up to 4 people and 2 dogs!The cottage is part of an old coaching house, tastefully converted to offer upstairs, 1 double bedroom and 1 twin plus a large bathroom with roll top bath and separate walk in shower.
The upstairs has lovely exposed beams adding to the cottage’s spacious feel and charm.
Downstairs there is the dining room with large table and chairs, the living room which looks over the village has comfy leather sofas and smart TV. There is a well equipped modern kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven, separate hob and microwave.
Outside is a gated courtyard style garden with table and chairs, parasol, and bbq. The sun is in the garden all day long during the summer months.
The location of the cottage couldn’t be better. In the middle of Boscastle, with its famous historic harbour, the Cobweb pub and restaurants down the hill and the 16th century Napoleon pub and heritage ‘old e worlde’ stone cottages up the hill. The coastal path is minutes from the cottage as is Forrabury Church and the famous. Forrabury Stitches – an agricultural wonder.
Plus, and this is a real big plus as Boscastle is hugely popular, there is off road parking in the private car park right outside the cottage
Visiting Boscastle & Exploring Cornwall
Boscastle is famous for its harbour, historic buildings and stunning countryside. The area is a haven for hikers and birdwatchers, with glorious clifftop scenery and magical wildlife to see. Lots of National Trust properties are in the area and the majestic ruins of Tintagel Castle is just a couple of miles along the coast. In Boscastle, you can enjoy a full English breakfast, vegetarian snack or crab sandwich at the Harbour Light Tea Garden or just relax and enjoy views over the harbour. Further attractions to visit include:Museum of Witchcraft.
