Artists’ Place is a beautifully restored 19th century cottage sympathetically decorated to reflect its age, using antique pieces where appropriate along with all the 21st century comforts you’d expect when you are exploring Harrogate and the surrounding area. Artists’ Place sleeps up to 4 adults making it ideal for business and leisure guests.

About Artists Place

The interior design has been carefully chosen to reflect the age and features of the property. We have incorporated antique furniture to give that feeling of quality and timelessness. A true home from home. The palette of duck-egg, cream and hints of blue or green in the bedrooms is for tranquility contrasting with the ultra modern highlights of bright yellow glass and French Navy units in the ultra modern kitchen.

The sitting room features a log burning stove, colourful rug, comfortable sofa and chairs. There are Bluetooth enabled speakers, a retro record player, books, board games and a SMART TV. The WiFi is free, secure and unrestricted with speeds of 40mbs- better than most enjoy in their own home.

We provide books and board games.

Our sumptuous beds are made specifically for us. There are 2 luxury shower rooms- one on the ground floor and the other is Jack and Jill on first floor between the two bedrooms.

Due to the age of the property the stairs are steep with narrow treads and unsuited to toddlers and infirm. Stair gates cannot be fitted.

We can provide travel cots and high chairs on request at no cost. You will require your own bedding for the travel cot.

Visiting Harrogate & Exploring North Yorkshire

Within a five minute walk on Kings Road there is a local Sainsburys, some independent cafes, a florist, greengrocer, a deli and a pharmacy. The Stray is a short walk – turn right at Skipton Road. The cycle path to Ripley can be accessed via Grove Park Terrace (opposite side of Skipton Road).

A quick traffic free walk takes you to centre of this elegant spa town.
