Accommodation

Our recently renovated 2 bedroom cottage sleeps 4. Both bedrooms are tastefully furnished with a double bed in each room for a perfect night’s sleep. The cosy relaxing sitting room/ dining area has a smart TV and air source heating throughout. There is a shower and WC, a fully equipped kitchen with table and chairs. The utility room is equipped with a washing machine and deep freeze. There is a small garden and parking for 2 vehicles and outdoor storage facilities.

Local Area

There are many places to visit while staying with us. Lynwood is situated in the heart of Neolithic Orkney, with the Standing Stones of Stenness , the Ring of Brodgar, the Ness of Brodgar and Maeshowe a 10 minute walk away. Skara Brae and Skaill House are situated in Sandwick which is a 10 minute drive away. Visitor passes are available for a range of sites on Orkney. There are two swimming pools on the mainland, one in Stromness and one in Kirkwall. The Pickaquoy Centre has a range of activities to suit all ages. Stromness and Kirkwall both have their own golf courses. Lynwood is situated in the countryside, with fields surrounding the property. With views of the Stenness and Harray Lochs, wildlife is right on your door step.
