Three Gables is a spacious five-bedroom village house located in Newbridge, on the western side of the Isle of Wight. Tucked away at the end of a private drive, it enjoys countryside views and a charming garden, creating a peaceful setting ideal for families or groups of friends looking to relax and spend time together.
The house comfortably accommodates up to ten adults across five bedrooms and four bathrooms, two of which are en suite, offering plenty of space for families or groups. Upstairs, the master bedroom features an en suite with WC and a bath with shower, and can be arranged as either a super king or twin beds. Also on this floor are a double bedroom with a toddler bed and a twin room, along with a shower room equipped with a WC, hand basin, and a large shower, ideal for freshening up after a warm day.
On the ground floor, there is a further double bedroom with its own en suite shower room, as well as a fifth bedroom with two single beds. A family bathroom with WC, hand basin, and a bath with shower is also located on this level. For those travelling with younger guests, a toddler bed and two cots are available and all duvets, pillows, linen and towels are provided to ensure a comfortable stay.
The living room is bright, spacious and inviting, with ample seating for up to ten people, making it perfect for relaxing together. Large French doors open onto a decked veranda and garden, creating a lovely space for enjoying morning coffee or dining outdoors, with a barbecue and garden furniture provided. Entertainment is well catered for, with a 48-inch TV with Freeview, a Roku stick, Blu-ray player and a stereo system.
The large open-plan kitchen is designed with socialising in mind, offering plenty of space for cooking and gathering together. It is fully equipped with high-quality appliances, including a Rangemaster electric cooker, American-style fridge freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, and dishwasher, along with all the cookware and utensils needed. A generous dining table seats up to ten, making it ideal for shared meals. Just off the kitchen, a practical utility area includes a washing machine, iron and ironing board, which is especially useful for larger groups.
The house and garden are well suited for families, with the outdoor space designed to be both enjoyable and safe. The garden is accessed via steps from the veranda leading down to a patio area, perfect for alfresco breakfasts, while sloped lawns and lower grassed areas provide space to play and relax. The garden is fully enclosed for added peace of mind and with a barbecue and outdoor seating available, it’s a great space to make the most of the surroundings.
Newbridge, on the western side of the Isle of Wight, is ideally located for exploring some of the island’s most scenic and unspoilt attractions. Nearby, the beautiful sandy beaches of Compton Bay are perfect for coastal walks, surfing and even fossil hunting, while the iconic The Needles offer dramatic chalk stacks and stunning sea views. The surrounding countryside is ideal for walking and cycling, with routes leading through rolling farmland and along the coast. A short drive takes you to the charming harbour town of Yarmouth, where you’ll find shops, restaurants and ferry connections, as well as historic sites such as Yarmouth Castle. For nature lovers, Newtown National Nature Reserve offers peaceful estuary walks and excellent opportunities for birdwatching.
