Summary

Woodclose Park is located in the beautiful valley of the River Lune, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, and just a short distance from the Lake District National Park. Set within nine acres, the park is home to glamping accommodation and a self-catering apartment - some of which are dog-friendly. Touring pitches are also available.

Just a short walk from the park entrance is the impressive River Lune and the three ribbed medieval arches of Devil’s Bridge - an iconic landmark known for its links to local legends. The picturesque market town of Kirkby Lonsdale with its independent tearooms, restaurants and pubs is just a short walk away. Plus, you’ll find an abundance of walking and cycling routes right on your doorstep.

Hive Cabins – Sleeps 4

Our two contemporary Hive Cabins sleep up to four guests and are designed for those with a love of nature. Step inside the spacious woodland-themed interior and you’ll find two double sofa beds, an integral shower room, and a well-equipped kitchen with a fridge/freezer, electric hob, and microwave. To the front of the Hive Cabins, there’s a decked area with seating. Parking is available nearby. One Hive Cabin is dog-friendly.

Barbon Hill Glamping Pods - Sleeps 2

Woodclose has two Barbon Hill glamping pods, each can accommodate two adults comfortably, and both are dog-friendly. Each glamping pod is supplied with a mattress-covered seating area that converts into a sleeping platform. Handy amenities include a kettle, fridge with ice box, microwave and a wall-mounted TV. For your comfort, there’s an electric heater.

Bedding, towels, and crockery are provided for two guests. Outside there’s a storage box, picnic table and brick base for barbecues.

Ruskin View Glamping Pods - Sleeps 2 adults and 1 child

Woodclose has two Ruskin View glamping pods, one of which is dog-friendly. Each glamping pod can accommodate two adults and one child. The glamping pods have a main seating area that converts into a sleeping platform, and a separate single seating/sleeping area. Amenities include a kettle, microwave, fridge with an ice box and an electric heater.

Bedding, towels, and crockery are provided for two guests. Extra can be pre-ordered or hired from reception. Or you can bring your own. Outside there’s a storage box, picnic table and brick base for barbecues.

River Lune 1 Glamping Pod - Sleeps 4

The River Lune 1 Glamping Pod can accommodate up to four guests and their furry-pawed companions. The glamping pod has a fixed double bed in addition to a double sofa bed both complete with mattresses. There is an en suite toilet with a wash basin. Guests also have exclusive use of a nearby private shower room. The small kitchenette includes a small fridge, kettle and toaster, microwave and kitchen sink. The pod has a small dining area with a table and four chairs. An electric heater keeps things toasty.

River Lune 2 Glamping Pod - Sleeps 4

The River Lune Glamping Pod can accommodate up to four guests. The glamping pod has a fixed double bed in addition to a double sofa bed both complete with mattresses. There is an en suite shower room with a toilet and a separate wash basin. The small kitchenette includes a small fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster and kitchen sink. For meals, there’s a small dining area with a table and four chairs.

Super Deluxe Glamping Pod - Sleeps 4

Woodclose has four Super Deluxe Pods for those of you wishing for a little luxury. The pods come equipped with bedding, crockery, a fixed double bed with a divan mattress, a double leather sofa bed with mattress, underfloor heating and a dining table. The pods also have a full en suite with shower, and a kitchenette including two ring hob, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster and TV. Dog-friendly options.

Treetops Self Catering Flat - Sleeps 4

A self-catering apartment that sleeps up to four guests. The sleeping arrangements comprise a double room in the one bedroom and a sofa bed in the living area. The apartment has a large open-plan living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a modern bathroom. To the exterior, there is a patio area and car parking space. Dog-friendly.

Overview

A short stroll away is the River Lune, crossed by the three-ribbed medieval Devil's Bridge. There are many different walking and cycle routes nearby. The historic market town of Kirkby Lonsdale is within 15 minutes walking distance providing an excellent selection of independent shops, tearooms, restaurants and inns.
