Kellah Farm Cottages consists of three self catering cottages at Kellah in Northumberland. Kellah is a working farm and has been farmed by the same family since 1849. We are in an ideal place for exploring Hadrian's Wall Country.

This is a 4 star, original stone built miners cottage. Chapel View has a solid fuel open fire and our biomass boiler provides the central heating and hot water making this a warm and cosy cottage at any time of the year. Chapel View has a private walled garden at the rear, overlooking pastures. Pets are welcome. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, each with a double and a single bed, and a bathroom with bath, electric shower, washbasin and toilet. Downstairs is a kitchen/dining room and lounge room.

This is also a 4 star original stone built miners cottage. The cottage has a solid fuel open fire and is centrally heated by our biomass boiler which also provides plenty of hot water keeping the cottage cosy all year round. It has a private walled garden to the front, overlooking the North Pennine Fells. Pets are welcome. Upstairs is an electric shower room with washbasin and toilet, and two bedrooms; one has a double bed, the other a double and a single bed. Downstairs is a kitchen, lounge room and separate dining room.

Newly refurbished Border cottage is a stone built cottage with a private walled garden to the front. The cottage is centrally heated from our biomass boiler, and has a log burner in the living room. This one-bedroom cottage sleeps 2 people. Upstairs is a King-sized bedroom with views onto the farmyard and a spacious bath/shower room. Downstairs we have a brand new kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and fridge-freezer and a seperate living room with a traditional stone fireplace.

Please note: we do not accept pets in this cottage or the B&B (we do accept pets in Chapel View & Kellah cottages)

Kellah is ideally situated near many of the Roman sites along Hadrian’s Wall, including Vindolanda, Housesteads, Birdoswald, Chesters, Carvoran and Corbridge. The Wall is a permanent reminder of what the Roman’s did for us and is a continuing challenge to archaeologists and historians, it is a much loved attraction to visitors. Hadrian’s Wall path is 84 miles long and Hadrians Wall Bus Service links the major sites during the summer.
