Primrose Hall offers charming self catering accommodation in the village of Empingham. Our Grade II Listed stone barn conversion in Rutland is within walking distance of Rutland Water’s North Shore.
Accommodation
This beautifully furnished cottage sleeps up to 4 people and enjoys a distinct character, including an original oak block floor and stone fireplace.You can unwind in the cosy living room which comes with a comfy sofa, a log burner and TV. A selection of games and books are also provided. The well-equipped kitchen comes with a fridge/freezer, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, electric oven and hob.
The cottage has 2 good-size bedrooms. The master bedroom comes with a double bed and the second bedroom has twin beds. Both rooms share a shower room. All bed linen and towels are provided.
Outside there is a delightful and fully enclosed sun trap with a table and chairs. A lovely place for a morning coffee whilst the sun is shining.
Visiting Empingham & Exploring Rutland
The village of Empingham is mid-way between the historic market towns of Stamford and Oakham, and is within walking distance of Rutland Water. A pub, village shop, doctor’s surgery and hairdressers are within a few hundred yards of Primrose.Stamford is packed full of 18th and early 19th Century town houses, and it is not surprising that its unspoilt streets have been used as film sets for many a period drama. It is well known for its Friday market, numerous little alleys and beautiful shops. The magnificent Burghley House is set in wonderful parkland on the edge of Stamford and offer gorgeous walks. Fantastic attractions to see include:

Rockingham Castle.
Woolsthorpe Manor House.
