Summary

Rivendell offers charming self catering accommodation in the village of Ringstead. The local inn in the village is within walking distance and offers delicious food and the local village also offers a store and an antiques store. Further afield you can visit a range of brilliant attractions in Norfolk.

Accommodation

Our fabulous property sleeps up to 5 people and offers a cosy.

The lounge is spacious and offers leather sofas, an open fireplace and a satellite TV with a DVD player. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you will need for a self catering holiday including: Electric cooker, microwave cooker, fridge with freezer compartment and washing machine.

There is also a dining table that has a table and chairs for six people. A high chair is also available.

The holiday cottage offers three bedrooms: Bedroom one is located to the rear of the property and have a double bed. Bedroom two is at the front of the property and offers two single beds, the final room offers a single bed and a cot. The bathroom has a shower over the bath, WC and a heated towel rail.

The garden contains mature plants and a lawned area. Garden furniture is available as well as a barbeque. The garden path leads to the garage that is at the bottom of the garden.

Visiting Ringstead & Exploring Norfolk

The local area offers some great attractions including Holkham Hall. This is a stately home that also boasts a beach right beside it. The Norfolk Broads is the biggest protected wetlands in Britain, offering the chance for you to see rare plants and animals.

Norwich Cathedral is worth visiting if you are staying in the holiday cottage, the cathedral has the second largest cloisters in England. Banham Zoo has 1000 animals for visitors to see, with many rare animals among that 1000. The Zoo is situated between Norwich and Thetford and is the perfect place to go for a family day out.
