Summary

Vanner Holiday Cottages offers wonderful self catering holiday accommodation near the market town of Dolgellau. Our holiday cottages in Gwynedd are based on a working farm on the banks of the river Mawddach and boast stunning views of the Cader Idris mountain range and the Mawddach Estuary.

Accommodation

Our newly renovated Listed cottages date from the 16th Century and now offer comfortable accommodation. Hen Dy sleeps 5 people and Y Bwtri sleeps 2.

Both cottages come with a well-equipped kitchen with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. A utility room attached to the cottages houses a washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing facilities and freezer. Each cottage has a lounge with a TV, DVD player and Hi-Fi system. All bed linen and towels are included.

Hen Dy

Our cottages have a lounge that features oak beams and a large inglenook with an open bread oven. There is a spacious open plan dining/kitchen area with oak bedrooms. On the ground floor, there is a bathroom with a WC and shower. Upstairs there is a double room, a room with a double and single and a bathroom with a bath and WC.

Y Bwtri

This cottage comes with a ground floor double bedroom and a ground floor bathroom with a WC and shower. Upstairs we have an open plan lounge/dining area and a kitchen that offers views of Cymer Abbey.

Visting Dolgellau & Exploring Gwynedd

We are an excellent destination for cyclists, with the Welsh Cycle Route running through the farm and the mountain bike centre at Coed y Brenin just 5 miles away. Take a scenic trip on The Talyllyn Railway or play a round at Aberdovey Golf Club. Fishing is available at Cregennan Lakes. Attractions to visit include:
