The Farmhouse is a 200 year old property that today is a self catering cottage. It is situated in Ganllwyd, Gwynedd. Ganllwyd is a small village within the Snowdonia National Park. Dolgellau market town is a short drive away. This is an ideal base for those looking either to relax or for adventure.

About The Farmhouse

The farmhouse is full of original features. A starter pack of logs is provided and a further supply of wood can be obtained at a small fee.

It has a well equipped kitchen/diner with ample space for six people. There is a cooker, kettle, toaster, microwave, dining table and radio.

The farmhouse can sleep 6 in a king size and two twins. All bed linen is included.

Downstairs is a shower/toilet and upstairs a large bathroom with garden views.

Outside is an enclosed patio area with seating and BBQ. Ample parking is available. Storage and washing facilities outside.

Visiting Ganllwyd & Exploring Gwynedd

From the doorstep in Ganllwyd are miles of walks and biking trails. The Mawddach estuary and waterfalls are within close walking distance. The sandy beaches of Barmouth and Fairbourne are 15 miles away.

The town of Dolgellau has plenty of history with its Abbey remains. There are plenty of pretty areas to walk and to have a good bike ride.

Coed-y-Brenin.
Tal-y-llyn Lake.
Cyfrwy.

Snowdon Mountain can sometimes even be seen from the farmhouse.

Gwynedd is on the north west of Wales and it has a host of things to offer visitors from the Snowdonia National Park to the Llyn Peninsula.

The Farmhouse provides a sanctuary yet easily accessible for visiting the many sites.
