Accommodation

You can choose from 3 stone cottages which are all tastefully furnished and well-equipped to a high standard. The cottages are adjacent to the Blackaddie Country House Hotel and in a great position for exploring the area.

Waterside Cottage – Sleeps 4:

Our cosy cottage boasts fabulous views over the salmon pool and comes with a lovely sitting/dining room including a TV and seating. Enjoy some home cooking the fully-equipped kitchen that includes an electric cooker, dishwasher and fridge. Thew two bedrooms can be made as 1 double and 1 twin, 2 twins or 2 doubles. Outside there is a garden, perfect for a coffee in the morning sun.

River Cottage – Sleeps 2:

This delightful cottage is based in an elevation position and close to the river. Inside there is a well-equipped kitchen with an electric cooker, dishwasher and fridge. Unwind in the lounge that has a smart TV and seating. The large bedroom comes with a twin or double. Outside there is a table and chairs, ideal for a drink or two in the evening sun.

Fishing Cottage – Sleeps 4:

Our tranquil cottage is close to the Salmon pool of John Kerr Pool, just up the river. Inside there is a well-equipped kitchen/lounge area, including comfortable seating and a smart TV. The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric cooker, dishwasher and fridge. The bedrooms can be made as 1 double and 1 twin or 2 twins. Outside there is a table and chairs for al fresco dining.

We are close to the Blackaddie Hotel, home to a beautiful garden, tasty cuisine and a bustling bar. Only 500 yards away is a public pool and golf course.

A wealth of activities are available in this lovely part of Scotland. The lodges are situated meters from Scotland's Southern Upland Way and provide as an ideal base for walking, bird watching, salmon and trout fishing, golfing on the local course or at world-famous Scottish courses of Troon or Turnberry, to canoeing on the River Nith – some of the best white-water in Scotland – or gold panning in the scenic Mennock Valley.
