Accommodation
Whilst the outside appearance of this 150-year-old cottage is typically Scottish West Coast in style, within the cottage the accommodation has been extended and fully modernised. This beautifully furnished cottage now boasts three double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a central snug, an open plan living room and galley-style kitchen. The rear garden is about a third of an acre in area and is almost entirely under grass so is a safe place for the children to play whilst the adults relax. On the ground floor is the open-plan garden room laid out for relaxed living/dining with patio doors opening on to the rear garden. Facilities include a Smart TV located within the heart of the cottage, the snug . The well-equipped galley kitchen comes with an electric cooker and oven, large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. The main bathroom with over-bath shower, together with a second toilet/washroom, are both located on the ground floor, as is the main double bedroom. A highchair and travel cot are available.
The first floor has a lovely landing with a Velux window - perfect for star gazing on moonlight nights - from which the two twin bedrooms are accessed.
Bed linen, bathroom and all personal towels, including kitchen hand and dish towels are all included. Beach towels are not provided.
Outside is a small front garden and large rear garden. A slabbed terrace area with garden furniture is perfect for a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.
