Accommodation
Our comfortably furnished cottage, Bluebell, offers everything you need for a special getaway in a lovely area of the country. The cottage is full of character, offering exposed stone walls, wooden beams and open fires.Unwind in the cosy sitting room that has a Television with Freeview, a DVD player, books and an inglenook fireplace. Rustle up some delicious dishes in the well-equipped kitchen which has an electric cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer. Enjoy some delicious meals around the dining table.
Additionally there is a shower room with WC. The first floor has a front bedroom with a single bed and bunk beds. The rear bedroom has a double bed and small veranda area.
The back garden is enclosed and open plan, enabling pets to play safely. Garden furniture is available for al fresco dining when the sun is shining.
Visiting Wick & Exploring Glamorgan
The nearest beach is only 1.5 mile walk, whilst a 5 minute drive will bring you to one of the many sandy beaches or pebbly coves. The nearby beaches are perfect for surfing, fishing and walking. Additionally there is a golf course nearby and stables where you can go horse riding.The nearest towns are the historic Llantwit Major and market town of Cowbridge. These have numerous restaurants, cafes and shops. The cities of Cardiff and Swansea can both be reached within a 30 minute drive and just an hour drive will take you to the Brecon Beacons or Gower Peninsula. Attractions to visit include:
St Quentin's Castle.
Cowbridge Physic Garden.
Old Hall gardens.
Nash Point Lighthouse.
Dunraven Castle.
