Hay Barn

Hay Barn, a delightful single-storey converted barn, accommodates up to two guests. Featuring a spacious open-plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen, wood-burning stove, under-floor heating, and a glazed wall with French doors opening to a private walled courtyard. The kitchen boasts modern amenities including an oven, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, and washer/dryer. Entertainment options include a TV with Sky Freeview, DVD player, CD player, and WiFi. The double bedroom offers flexibility with either a 6’ double bed or 3’ twin beds, while the wet room includes a shower, WC, and handbasin. Outside, the walled courtyard features raised flower beds, with access to a side garden area shared with Straw Barn. Ample parking spaces are available by the front door.

Straw Barn

Similarly, Straw Barn is a charming single-storey converted barn accommodating up to four guests. Its spacious open-plan living area includes a well-equipped kitchen, wood-burning stove, under-floor heating, and French doors leading to a private walled courtyard. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, and washer/dryer. Entertainment amenities include a TV with Sky Freeview, DVD player, CD player, and WiFi. The barn comprises two bedrooms, one with a 6’ double bed and the other with 3’ twin beds. The bathroom features an Aquability bath, handshower, WC, and handbasin. Outside, the walled courtyard boasts raised flower beds, with access to a shared side garden area with Hay Barn. Parking is convenient with ample spaces available by the front door.

Hay Barn can be booked with Straw Barn to accommodate up to six people.

Local Area

The self catering barns are located within two miles of Chiddingstone National Trust village and Penshurst. They are also within nine miles of Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells. There are a wide range of restaurants and pubs in the area that serve real ale from the local Larkins Brewery. In the area you will find many golf courses, including Hever Castle, Villa Golf, Sweetwoods, Nizels, Knole Park, The Nevill & Tunbridge Wells.
