Accommodation
Our 3 cottages are nestled in 26 acres of formal grounds and woodland. You can use the bar inside the Hall which serves food until 9 pm every day or enjoy an afternoon tea in this fabulous setting.Garvins Cottage
Our cottage is based in the old stable yard of the main hall and has been refurbished to offer quality accommodation whilst retaining original features. Inside there is a lounge, dining room and a well-equipped kitchen with a washing machine, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Bedrooms consist of 1 double, 1 single (3/4 bed) and 1 bunk bed. The rooms share a bathroom with a bath and shower. Outside there is a garden with seating for al fresco dining.Swift CottageThis cottage is next door to Garvins and includes a lounge, a dining room and a well-equipped kitchen with a washing machine, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Bedrooms consist of 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom that share a bathroom with a bath and shower. Outside you can relax in the garden which has outdoor seating.Gardeners Cottage
Our cottage has 3 double bedrooms in total, including 1 ground-floor en suite. There is a further bunk room and a bathroom with a bath and shower. A well-equipped kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher and fridge freezer. There is a dining room and lounge. Outside there is a patio area with seating, great for a coffee in the morning sun.
Visiting Wortley & Exploring South Yorkshire
We are perfectly placed for exploring the area, with lots to do and see. The nearby market town of Penistone is renowned for its farmers Market which attracts visitors all year round. The Yorkshire Dales are also waiting to be discovered slightly further afield. There are also other historic houses to visit locally such as Wentworth Woodhouse, Wentworth Castle and Cannon Hall. Attractions to visit include:
