Summary

Megs and Nellie's are two self catering holiday cottages that are nestled in the heart of the Scottish Borders, just a mile from the town of Coldstream. The holiday cottages are surrounded by countryside, making them ideal for people who enjoy walking, cycling and enjoying the fresh country air!

Meg’s Cottage

This holiday cottage sleeps up to six people in three bedrooms: Including, 1 ground floor king room, 1 first floor twin room and 1 first floor king room. The bathroom has both a bath and a overhead shower. There is an attractive and comfy sitting room, with a dining table, smart flat screen TV plus integrated DVD player, and a CD player. A great place to relax in the evening and mull over the days events, with a glass of wine to plan the next day of discovery.

Nellie’s Cottage

Nellie’s cottage also sleeps up to six people, with one king-size bedroom downstairs and two twin bedrooms upstairs. The bathroom is equipped with both a bath and a overhead shower. Like Meg’s the cottage has plenty of character and has a smart TV and DVD player in the sitting room.

Naturally all the bed linen and towels are included in your stay at both cottages. Central heating is provided by night storage heaters. A highchair and travel cot are available in both cottages.

Local Area

Meg’s and Nellie’s cottages really are a fantastic base from which to discover and explore the whole of the region. The local area is teaming with paths and trails through river valleys, mature forests, over the Lammermuir Hills, or around the North Northumberland Heritage coastline at Berwick-upon-Tweed, there’s plenty to see all year round. Meg’s and Nellie’s are near the valleys of Teviotdale and Liddesdale which provide superb walking and magnificent views.

Rates: From £450 to £715 per week depending on cottage and season.
Maximum of 6 people in each cottage.
Pets are welcome by prior arrangement (Dog charge £15 per dog).
