Bach Wen are a collection of holiday homes in a tranquil and peaceful area of Gwynedd. They overlook Caernarfon Bay in North Wales. The holiday cottages are a short walk from the village of Clynnong Fawr. They are within easy reach of the Snowdonia National Park.

About Bachwen Farm Cottages

The cottages are nestled in the stunning Lleyn Peninsular. They have been converted from farm buildings that once served the St Beuno Monastery.

Our 9 stone holiday cottages offer outstanding views in all directions. From the paddocks in front of the cottages, you get a spectacular view of Caernarfon Bay, Anglesey, Holy Island and the imposing Three Rivals mountain range. The backdrop to our site is the beautiful mountains of Snowdonia.

Facilities include:

High quality interiors, all recently refurbished with IKEA/Habitat furniture.
Residents lounge.
Cottages vary in size and accommodate between 2 and 8 people.
Pet friendly.
All cottages have private gardens.
Children’s play area.
Free access to the beach, glade, picnic areas, barbecues, children's play area with climbing frames, swings and sand pits.
It is a particularly safe site for children as it is 1/4 mile from the main road.
Use of the barn function room. The multipurpose space is used primarily as a relaxing residents bar and lounge. At 100 square metres, the barn is a unique venue for large family gatherings, milestone birthdays, one off events and celebrations.

Visiting Clynnog Fawr & Exploring Gwynedd

The village of Clynnog Fawr is within walking distance and has a pub with restaurant, petrol station and a 7-10 late shop.

There are plenty of areas to go walking including:

Snowdonia National Park.
Caernarfon.
Pwllheli.
Abersoch Anglesey.
Criccieth.
Porthmadog.
Portmeirion.

These all have outstanding walks and pathways throughout this beautiful part of Wales.
