Accommodation

The cottage comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests, featuring a master bedroom with a king-size bed and ensuite shower, two twin bedrooms and a high-quality sofa bed in the living area. Additionally, there is a spacious family bathroom available.

Guests can unwind by the warming peat fire, enjoying picturesque views of Loch Portain from the commodious living and dining space, which is also equipped with a modern kitchen including an island bar. Entertainment and convenience are provided with a flat-screen TV with Freeview, a DVD player, an iPod dock and a kitchen well-stocked with a microwave, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.

The Area

The surrounding area offers an array of attractions, from stunning beaches ideal for swimming or serene walks along the coastline, to opportunities for fishing wild salmon, sea-trout and brown trout. The Balranald RSPB nature reserve and various outdoor activities such as water sports, diving, abseiling, rock climbing and horse riding are readily available. For golf enthusiasts, the Benbecula golf course welcomes visitors, further enhancing the appeal of this delightful holiday retreat.
