Craiglea Lodge provides wonderful self catering accommodation in Latheronwheel. Our award-winning Scottish Highlands retreat in Caithness comprises of 3 listed guest houses, an indoor leisure area with a private heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and a tranquil seating area overlooking glorious scenery. This extensive complex is ideal for families, groups, celebrations or corporate events.

Accommodation

Our three newly renovated holiday homes can be combined to sleep 15-20 guests. All the homes are beautifully furnished and offer peace and seclusion. We are in a truly stunning location and offer unparalleled natural beauty and seclusion.

You can choose from Guest House 1, Guest House 2 and the Barn/Cottage. The Barn and the main house have their own fully equipped kitchen which come with a range of appliances, including a washing machine and dryer. Each house has a relaxing lounge with sofas, fully working coal fire and a plasma screen with Satellite TV.

All guests are free to use the acre of gardens and we have a designated area for BBQs on a summer’s day. Table tennis is also available. We can also arrange a variety of activities and adventures, including visiting local artist studios and galleries, art workshops and cookery classes by local, top-ranking chefs.

Visiting Latheronwheel & Exploring Caithness

Lots great attractions are in the local area. Dunrobin Castle is the largest house in the Northern Highlands with 189 rooms and dates to the 1300s. You can tour this magnificent property and stroll around its manicured grounds. Reiss Beach is perfect for relaxing on or you can book a fascinating tour of the Old Pulteney Whisky Distillery.
