Castletoun Cottages

Summary

Castletoun Cottages offers three beautiful self catering cottages with character and style situated in the town of Greenlaw in the Scottish Borders. We can accommodate group bookings and cater for up to 14 guests across the three properties.

Stable Yard Cottage

Stable Yard Cottage can sleep up to 6 people and is the largest of our holiday cottages. It has been sensitively refurbished to a pleasing standard. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need including washing machine, tumble dryer and Dolce Gusto coffee machine. The lounge has Freeview TV with Netflix, a wood burning stove and there is wi-fi throughout. Upstairs there are three bedrooms - two doubles and a twin room. There is a shower room and a family bathroom plus an extra separate toilet downstairs.

The Tackhouse

The Tackhouse sleeps up to 4 people in two bedrooms. This cosy self catering cottage offers a contemporary homely feel to it. There is open plan living downstairs with a wood burning fire at its centre. The lounge area has a flat screen TV with Freeview and Netflix. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms (which can be twins, please ask before arrival) and they both have an ensuite.

Groom's Bell

This is a mirror image of The Tackhouse and so also sleeps up to 4 people in two double bedrooms. The open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area is stylish in decoration and has a wood burning stove as its heart. The cottage has all mod cons including Dolce Gusto coffee machine, washing machine with dryer, Freeview TV with Netflix and wi-fi throughout.

Local Area

There are a range of attractions and activities in the local area including golf, horse riding, shooting, hiking, cycling and fishing.

Greenlaw has a church, two pubs, a post office, butchers, chemist, mini market, bank and a children's playground. All of these amenities are located within a couple of minutes of the holiday cottages.

The larger popular places of Edinburgh, Alnwick and Holy Island are each reached in around an hour.

Maximum of 14 people when all the properties are combined.
Children are welcome.
Pets are welcome in Stable Yard Cottage and Groom's Bell only. £5 per stay.
