Summary

Penwern Fach has 6 luxury country cottages with glorious views extending across the Teifi Valley to the Preseli Hills beyond. Varying in size, all provide well proportioned, easy holiday living at any time of year. The farm extends to 10 acres and is only 1.5 miles away from the quaint little village of Cenarth, famous for its waterfalls and salmon fishing.

Communal gardens, lawns, golf practise field and play area add to the pleasure and the enclosed wild-life pond which attracts a wide variety of insects and birdlife is fascinating for young and old.

About the Cottages

Our 6 cottages sleep from 2-6 in comfort with beds made up for your arrival. There is central heating & log burners to make for a cosy break whatever the time of year. There are also cots, high chairs and baby gates available if requested. Bed linen and towels are provided.

Use of the Leisure Facilities at nearby Cenarth Falls Resort - Bar Lolfa & Spa can be enjoyed at a discounted rate for all cottage guests. Here you will find:

A luxurious indoor pool.
Jacuzzi.
Sauna/steam rooms.
Fitness suite.

There is a 200-yard golf practice area onsite for keen golfers (balls and clubs not provided).

Our play tower is very popular with the “little ones” and we also have a football field for dads and older children as well as a games room with pool table. New for 2024, we also have an outdoor giant chess/draughts game and outdoor table tennis.

Visiting Cenarth & Exploring Ceredigion

Within a short distance you will discover the beautiful beaches of Cardigan Bay with spectacular cliff-top walks, where you may even see the bottlenose dolphins and grey seals. There are also numerous outdoor activities for all the family such as golf, pony trekking, fishing, walking or even a white knuckle day out at Wales’ top theme park, Oakwood.

The National Trust House and Gardens at Llanerchaeron, Aberglasney House & Gardens and also The National Botanic Gardens are all nearby.
