Brook Farm Cottages are a group of self catering holiday cottages that are located within the farmyard of Brook Farm on the outskirts of Drayton near Abingdon. Our 3 holiday cottages make an ideal base for a group of family or friends who are looking to visit Oxfordshire or those who want to explore the Cotswolds.

Each of our holiday cottages is fully equipped to make your self catering holiday or short term stay comfortable and enjoyable and our country farm shop on site sells a variety of home produced country fayre allowing you to enjoy fresh eggs for breakfast, delicious English honey, and more. the holiday cottages were once an old milking parlour and they all still retain much of its original features and traditional English character.

The Shippen

A 2 storey holiday cottage that can sleep up to 4 people. There is a cosy living room, dining area and fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor and a double and twin bedroom on the 1st floor. This holiday cottage has underfloor central heating, a colour TV, Wi-Fi and its own fenced and attractively planted courtyard garden which leads to a communal courtyard with safe play area.

The Old Parlour

The holiday home has underfloor central heating, a TV, Wi-Fi and its own fenced and attractively planted courtyard garden which leads to a communal courtyard with safe play area. Set all on 1 floor, this is ideal for those with limited mobility or with young children. The cottage can sleep up to 5 people in a twin with an extra single bed and a double bedroom. Ok for people with limited mobility because the property is on the ground floor.

There is a communal laundry room with automatic washing machine, tumble drier and ironing facilities. A cot and high chair are available on request at booking. Our prices are fully inclusive of electricity, heating, hot water and bed linen (towels extra).

The historic market town of Abingdon, set on the River Thames and once famed for its ancient abbey, is only three miles away. Just 10 miles to the north is the university city of Oxford, with its splendid architecture, pleasant parks, riverside walks and bustling shopping centre. If you enjoy the countryside, the Ridgeway and the famous landmark White Horse Hill are a pleasant drive away. You can be in the Chilterns, the Cotswolds, at LEGOLAND, Windsor Castle or Blenheim Palace in less than an hour.
