Nestled on the hillside surrounded by fields, orchards and woodland Hurstone lies on the edge of the village of Waterrow and is within easy reach of Exmoor National Park, Somerset. This charming accommodation is ideal for large groups or families and has easy access to the town of Taunton.

Hurstone offers the perfect place for a getaway all year round - whether you are looking for a family holiday in the summer or a winter weekend break with friends. Warm comfortable rooms with open fires, central heating and an outdoor Jacuzzi. In warmer months laze around in the garden, take a stroll through the meadows or discover some of the nearby villages tucked away down the maze of country lanes.

Visiting Waterrow & Exploring Somerset

Much of the land is a recognised County Wildlife site with traditional meadows, ancient hedgerows and native woodland bordered by the River Tone. Otters frequent the river and wild deer can be spotted in the woodland and buzzards soar above the pastures.

If you’re an outdoor enthusiast Hurstone is ideally situated for walking, mountain biking, horse riding and fishing. For the less energetic, there are many national trust houses and gardens, scenic drives over Exmoor and the beautiful North Devon coast to explore.

A short walk from the house is The Rock Inn, a traditional village pub serving a range of local Cotleigh and Exmoor ales and fantastic food.

Sleeps 14 + 2 cots (plus the option of double rm annexe at an additional cost).
