Tucked away amidst a working arable farm at the fringe of the Vale of Belvoir, you can visit horses and lambs in the Spring and these cottages boast tranquil surroundings adorned with trout and coarse fishing lakes, all within a scenic tapestry of fields and woodlands.

Accommodation

We've ensured that your holiday cottage is furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay, aiming to make you feel entirely at ease during your time with us. Your holiday package includes electricity, central heating, logs, linens and a welcome pack on arrival.

Upon entering through the main porch, you'll step into a welcoming open-plan lounge, exuding warmth and tasteful décor. Equipped with a TV, DVD player, and a cosy log-burning fireplace, the entire cottage is centrally heated for your comfort.

The kitchen/dining areas in both cottages are fully stocked with modern amenities including a fridge, microwave, dishwasher, electric cooker and washing machine. Additional facilities such as drying options are available for a nominal fee. Essentials like crockery, cutlery and cleaning materials are provided, along with basic provisions such as milk, tea, coffee and sugar.

Each cottage comprises one double room with a king-size bed and one twin room with two single beds, both featuring wardrobes and dressing tables. We can accommodate up to four guests along with an infant (cot available upon request). Plush carpeting and tasteful furnishings add to the cosy ambiance.

The spacious, pristine bathrooms in each cottage feature a choice between a corner bath or traditional style, along with a separate large shower unit, basin and WC. Towels and basic toiletries are provided for your convenience.

Ample parking is available around the cottages, with private seating areas and beautifully maintained gardens at the front.

Fishing

For fishing enthusiasts, our coarse fishing lakes offer an excellent opportunity to indulge in your hobby while enjoying our self-catering accommodations. Situated amidst serene English countryside, surrounded by 160 acres of woodland and rolling farmland, our lakes provide the perfect setting for relaxation. Day tickets are also available for those interested in coarse fishing, with both lakes conveniently located within walking distance of the cottages, offering easy access and ample parking.

Conveniently situated near numerous local attractions in Nottingham, Woodview Holiday Cottages offer a rural retreat with easy access to traditional market towns and bustling cities. With a myriad of activities including rambling, cycling, watersports, horse riding and fishing, there's something here to suit every age and interest.
