Summary

The 35-acre Langdale Estate set in heart of the English Lake District is a natural woodland haven with streams and tarns, dotted with massive millstones and other carefully preserved reminders of its history as a 19th Century of gunpowder works.

Accommodation

The estate offers a choice of lodge and apartment accommodation, sleeping up to 8 people all rated as 5 stars. The estate also boasts Stove Restaurant & Bar, Wainwrights’ Inn a traditional Lakeland pub, Brimstone Spa and complimentary use of the Fitness & Leisure Facilities. There is a choice of 2 hotels on-site also.

We have over 100 units, both Lodge and Apartment accommodation, for timeshare purchase and self-catering rental. The Estate has four purpose-built conference rooms.

Coniston Lodge: Scandinavian-style properties all on the main Estate (Lodge 81 is a traditional stone-built Lakeland Cottage). All are single-storey except Lodges 24 and 31.
