Clara's Apartment & Yew Tree Apartments

Clara's Apartment and Yew Tree apartments are situated in what was formerly the laundry and have views over the stable-yard, gardens and tennis court. They each sleep 2 adults and there is a relaxing and cottage type feel to these apartments. Both comprise a kitchen/diner/lounge, bedroom with double bed and a bathroom. They have shared use of separate laundry facilities. The apartments are furnished and equipped to high standards. The kitchens contain a full set of pots, pans, plates and cutlery, an electric cooker, microwave and a fridge with a freezer compartment. The lounges have the benefit of real effect gas-stove type burners and each has a colour television.

The Stable Apartment

This is our luxury two person accommodation. It blends together the unique charm of being the former stable-lad's quarters with every convenience of modern living. It is furnished and fitted out to a magnificent standard and is perfect for the couple who are looking to spoil themselves. It overlooks the stable-yard and the walled garden. The apartment has a warm, cosy atmosphere benefiting from a wealth of exposed beams and original features. It boasts a delightful fully fitted kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. There is a full range of utensils, including toaster and mixer, and plenty of pots, pans and crockery. Comfort and good taste were firmly in mind in the planning of the stable apartment and they stand out in the lounge with its co-ordinated soft furnishings, a real effect gas fire, colour television and video. The spacious bedroom has a king size bed, top quality furniture and delightful en suite bathroom, which contains a bath with a powerful shower over it. A separate utility room contains a freezer, washing machine and spin dryer.

West Wing

West Wing is the largest of the apartments sleeping six and is situated in the former servants’ quarters. This accommodation blends original features – such as a beautiful quarry tile hall, meat hooks in the ceiling and an unusual servants’ bell – with an impressive fitted kitchen, a gorgeous family bathroom and modern soft furnishings throughout.

The East Wing Apartment

This apartment sleeps 4 persons, and enjoys a spectacular outlook over gardens, paddocks and the countryside beyond. It occupies the entire first floor of the east wing of the hall with access via a spiral staircase from the stable yard. The main rooms are all south facing with views over the gardens and countryside beyond. The living room has been planned with comfort in mind. With a large, cosy suite and a real effect gas fire you can relax in style. In addition, a colour television and video recorder are provided for your entertainment. The kitchen/dining room is bright and spacious. It is fitted out with high quality pine units and has a large table which seats six. The kitchen equipment includes a gas oven/hob, fridge / freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher and food mixer. There is also a full range of utensils and kitchenware. The master bedroom is luxurious. It contains a Victorian half-tester double bed and other fabulous antiques and has an en suite bathroom which will leave you feeling truly spoilt. The second bedroom is also splendid having twin beds which are usually fitted together to form a double. There is in addition a second bathroom with a power shower over the bath. Spanning the length of the apartment is a magnificent hallway. Off the hallway, there is a utility room which contains an automatic washing machine/dryer, iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner and cleaning materials.

The Lodge

This Lodge is our most recent renovation of the former gatehouse to the property. It sleeps 6 people with a fabulous ensuite master bedroom, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. In addition, there is a large kitchen diner, a lounge and a family bathroom. The property is a wonderful blend of traditional features with modern furnishings and fittings. Whilst separate from the main hall, it enjoys full access to the grounds and gardens.

The Gardens

Guests are welcome to enjoy the 12 acres of gardens and paddocks at Yeldersley Hall. There is plenty to see including a walled garden with an ornate parterre, a kitchen garden with a renovated Victorian greenhouse and formal areas containing mature trees, shrubs and lawns. A tennis court is available for use at no extra cost and croquet equipment is also provided.

Yeldersley Hall offers the grand country house wedding with all the trimmings without it costing the earth. We are experienced in working with brides to help them create an unforgettable wedding day that is everything they dreamed of and more. Our ‘your day, your way’ flexible approach is a popular choice for today’s discerning bride. Unusually, we do not dictate a costly all-inclusive package, and we do not require you to use expensive in-house catering. In summary you hire the facilities you require at Yeldersley Hall and then organise your own outside catering, entertainment and decorations. Alternatively you may even prefer to do elements yourself. We are entirely flexible for every wedding reception, as we understand that your day should be unique. All you need to do is contact us with your requirements and ideas and we’ll help you to shape-up the best day of your life.

Location

The area surrounding the self catering apartments is a haven for walkers as the Peak District is nearby. There are also plenty of towns, villages and attractions nearby.
