Situated within two UNESCO World Heritage sites, the Lake District National Park and Frontiers of the Roman Empire, our self-catering properties offer a one-of-a-kind experience. Overlooking the railway line, our accommodations redefine the concept of a 'railway sleeper'. Guests enjoy a 75% discount on standard railway fares (subject to availability) as part of their stay. Please note, our main season runs from March to October.

Our Pullman Camping Coaches, Elmira and Maid of Kent, have been beautifully refurbished with support from the National Lottery in partnership with the Ravenglass Railway Museum. We also offer Hilton Cottage, once the railway station manager's residence, available for bookings after its renovation in Summer 2023.

Elmira Pullman Coach

Elmira Pullman Coach accommodates up to 4-5 guests, featuring a double bedroom, a twin room, and a bed in the lounge. It's dog-friendly and offers flexibility with arrival on Mondays (4 nights) or Fridays (3 nights).

Maid of Kent Pullman Coach

Maid of Kent Pullman Coach offers high-quality accommodation for up to 4-5 guests, with similar sleeping arrangements and dog-friendly amenities. Guests can also choose arrival on Mondays (4 nights) or Fridays (3 nights).

Hilton Cottage

Hilton Cottage sleeps 4-6 guests in a double and twin bedroom, with a sofa bed in the lounge. It welcomes dogs and offers arrival options on Mondays (4 nights) or Fridays (3 nights), with free parking available for one car.
