Murk Head Holiday Cottages offers wonderful self catering accommodation in Harwood Dale, nestled on a 230-acre private estate. We boast glorious views toward Scarborough and are perfect for an idyllic holiday in North Yorkshire.

Accommodation

We have 4 cottages to choose from. All the properties have been beautifully converted from 18th Century farm buildings. Each cottage has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living rooms and a well-equipped kitchen with ovens, hobs, microwaves and dishwashers etc.

Painter’s Cottage

Our cottage comes with a spacious dining/kitchen and the sitting room enjoys views of The North York Moors National Park. Upstairs we have a master en suite and a twin en suite room. The master room offers lovely views and a cot and high chair are available upon request.

The Stables

This cottage offers an open plan layout and includes a well-equipped dining kitchen. The floor-to-ceiling picture window from the lounge offers fabulous views. Two bedrooms are upstairs, a master en suite and a twin en suite room. The master room offers lovely views and a cot and high chair are available upon request.

Mill Cottage

Our cottage comes with a large and fully equipped dining kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, oven and hob. Upstairs there is a master en suite room and a twin en suite room. Both bedrooms are furnished in Laura Ashley. A cot and high chair are available by request.

Honeysuckle Cottage

This cottage comes with an open plan sitting room with an elegant leather suite and doors that offer delightful views. The dining kitchen includes granite work surfaces and a Belfast sink. The en suite wet room includes a heated floor and heated towel rails.

Visting Harwood Dale & Exploring North Yorkshire

Whilst staying with us you can discover all that the local area has to offer. Visit the coastal towns of Scarborough, Robin Hoods Bay and Whitby. You can take a scenic trip on The North Yorkshire Moors Railway at Pickering or head to the Jurassic coast. Attractions to visit include:
