Longs Farm - The Retreat offers fabulous self catering accommodation in Sutton Mandeville near Salisbury. We are perfect for a memorable stay in a beautiful area of Wiltshire.

Accommodation

Our 17th Century Grade II Listed cottage sleeps up to 8 people and offers luxurious facilities throughout. The cottage has underfloor heating and combines modern interiors with period touches.

Downstairs we have a double living room in the older part of the house which has original wood beams, open fireplaces and comfy seating. At the back of the property is an architecturally designed extension which has a large dining room, shower room and a snug area with a 65’’ TV and king-size sofa bed.

A recently renovated kitchen has been finished to a high standard and comes with a full-sized double oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, plus a large breakfast bar.

Upstairs we have a king master en suite and a second room with a king bed. A third bedroom has twin beds that can made as a super king and en suite facilities. A family bathroom has a free-standing bath tub. Century-old windows offer countryside views.

Outside we have a peaceful garden with a table, chairs and BBQ for al fresco dining when the sun is out. We also have a tennis/basketball court, with rackets and balls provided.

Visting Sutton Mandeville & Exploring Wiltshire

Our cottage has lots of walking routes right on our doorstep, including routes that criss-cross the Cranborne Chase. Only a 20-minute drive from us are the towns of Salisbury and Shaftesbury. Visit Wilton House or see the animals at Longleat. Attractions to visit include:

Old Sarum
Wardour Castle.
Larmer Tree.
Stonehenge.
Messums.
