Laggan & Inverenzie Cottages offers fabulous self catering accommodation in Ballater, set along the River Gairn. We are perfect for an unforgettable getaway in a beautiful area of Aberdeenshire.

Accommodation

We have 2 cottages to choose from, Laggan Cottage and Inverenzie Cottage. Both have been designed to offer outstanding countryside views, offering large windows and outdoor seating areas to unwind on.

Inverenzie Cottage

This former farmhouse has been tastefully renovated to offer accommodation for 4 people, perfect for a small family or couple. The cottage offers outstanding views.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a range of appliances, and you can unwind in the cosy living area. There are 2 bedrooms with separate or king-size beds and 2 bathrooms including a bath or shower.

There is a private garden and a terrace with outside furniture and a BBQ, offering the perfect spot for a coffee in the morning sun.

Laggan Cottage

Our cottage sleeps up to 8 people (6 in the main house plus 2 in the shed with river views). The cottage dates from 1880 and now offers quality accommodation.

Inside there is a living room with a fireplace, offering the perfect spot to relax after a day in the countryside. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances. Each bedroom has an individual character and includes its own bathroom. In total, there are 4 bedrooms with separate or king-size beds and 4 bathrooms with a shower or bath.

Outside we have a small garden and a terrace with furniture for al fresco dining over a glass or two.

Visting Ballater & Exploring Aberdeenshire

We are in the ideal location for discovering all that the local area has to offer. Activities available locally include hiking, fishing, clay shooting and cycling. Walk along the River Dee or visit historic Balmoral Castle. You can enjoy the trails at the Cairngorms National or play on one of the local golf courses. Attractions to visit include:

Knock Castle.
Muir of Dinnet National Nature Reserve.
Glenshee Ski Centre.
Ballater Golf Club.
Dunnottar Castle.
