Summary

Rowan Cottage offers delightful self catering accommodation in the village of Salen. We are based in a lovely area of the Isle of Mull and ideally placed for visiting Aros and a range of attractions in the area.

Accommodation

Our cottage is one of Salen’s oldest properties and now offers modern accommodation to suit all your needs. The cottage sleeps up to 4 people and electric is paid by a coin meter.

Inside we have a sitting room with a TV, comfy seating and an open fire. The well-equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances: oven/hob, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine, kettle and toaster.

On the first floor is a double bedroom and a room with 2 single beds. The beautiful furnished bedrooms share a toilet/shower room. A hair dryer is provided.

Outside we have a lawn and large BBQ area, perfect for al fresco dining when the sun is out.

Visting Salen & Exploring the Isle of Mull

We are based on the main road north from Craignure and are in the perfect spot for visiting the north and the south of the island. Within a hundred yards from us is a Spar shop, coffee shop, restaurant, petrol station and hotel. Attractions to visit include:

Fingal's Cave.
Eas Fors Waterfall.
Iona Abbey and Nunnery.
Tobermory Distillery Visitor Centre.
Aros Park.
