Otter Cottage offers wonderful self catering accommodation in Y Ffor, nestled in a hidden valley. We are based in a peaceful setting near Pwllheli, perfect for a relaxing getaway in Gwynedd.

Accommodation

We are surrounded by ancient beech woods and beside us a small river flows by. The cottage has been newly renovated to offer quality accommodation and sleeps up to 6 people. There is underfloor heating, perfect for the colder months.

On the ground floor, we have a spacious open plan sitting and dining room, plus a well-equipped kitchen with a range cooker/induction hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Facilities include a smart TV with an Amazon Fire stick. There is a modern walk-in shower/wet room and a separate WC. Externally there is a utility and drying room.

The first floor has 3 bedrooms: 1 super king with river views, 1 twin with garden and river views and 1 bunk room. The rooms share a bathroom.

Outside we have 2 garden benches, perfect for relaxing with a coffee whilst enjoying the setting. A dining table with bench seating for 6 and a Webber BBQ are perfect for al fresco dining.

Visting Y Ffor & Exploring Gwynedd

We are ideally placed for exploring the area, with mountains, lakes and castles all easily accessible. Lots of beaches are only a 20-minute car journey, whilst the beach at Abererch is just 3 miles away. In Portmeirion, Dylans Criccieth and Ty Coch there are lots of pubs and restaurants to enjoy. Attractions to visit include:

Zip World Caverns.
Ffestiniog Railway.
Harlech Castle.
Pwllheli Beach.
Conwy Castle.
