Yare Cottage offers delightful self catering accommodation in Wwroxham, nestled on the shore of the River Bure. We offer private fishing rights and boast amazing views over the river and marina, perfect for an idyllic holiday in Norfolk.

Accommodation

At Yare Cottage we welcome families, couples and anglers with or without pets (up to two). The property is set over two levels.

On the ground floor, there is a cloakroom and an open plan living area that offers wonderful views. There is a modern electric fireplace and patio doors open to the decking area. A well-equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances: an electric oven and stove, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and cooking equipment. Between the kitchen and living area is a timber dining table.

Upstairs we have we have 3 large bedrooms. Two of the rooms have double beds, including one with a Juliet balcony. One of the bedrooms comes with 2 single beds. The bedrooms share a family bathroom with a shower over bath. All bed linen and towels are included.

Outside we have a waterfront decking area, offering the perfect spot for breakfast whilst savouring the views. There is no electric vehicle car charging but onsite charging facilities can be arranged.

Visting Wroxham & Exploring Norfolk

Only a 10-minute walk from the cottage across the river is the village of Hoveton, home to the renewed Roys department stores, food hall and McDonald's. Locally there are lots of footpaths and cycling routes to enjoy. The whole family can visit BeWILDerwood and Wroxham Barns. Attractions to visit include:

Hickling Board Nature Reserve.
Norwich Cathedral.
RAF Air Defence Radar Museum.
Wroxham Miniature Worlds.
Holkham Hall.
