Organic Retreats offers fantastic self catering accommodation in Altham, based in a peaceful rural location. We have 3 properties near Accrington to choose from, perfect for a family getaway in Lancashire.

Our little hobbit hut is based at the bottom of the fields and surrounded by trees, providing plenty of privacy. The hut comes with a double bed and a single pull-out bed. We recommend bringing sleeping bags for the wooden benches.

We have an indoor fireplace with can act as a BBQ/water building facilities. You can soak yourself in the wood-burning hot tub. Outside their hut is a compost toilet.

This lodge is based only yards from the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. Inside there are 2 double bedrooms. You can relax in the living room and a dining/lounge comes with a dual single-day bed. Facilities include a wood burner, 75’’ TV with Netflix, board games and Wi-Fi.

You have exclusive use of a kitchen and a toilet/shower. We have a wood-burning hot tub to relax in and a sauna barrel. A decking area comes with seating, perfect for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun.

We offer accommodation accommodation in Romany Vardo, including a private area that enjoys views over Hamledon Hill. Inside the is a quilted double bed and log burner.

Outside there is an oven cooking station. You can huddle around the first pit there is a two-person wood-fired hot tub to soak yourself in. Facilities include an indoor gas camping shower, compost loo, vanity sink, hammocks and two bath towels.

Only a 15-minute walk from are the local shops. You can enjoy canal walks or visit Clitheroe Castle which is less than 6 miles away. Hike up Pendle Hill or enjoy a tipple at Walton Arms Country Pub. The local towns of Blackburn, Burley and Accrington are all accessible by car. Attractions to visit include:
