Summary

Dolgoy Cottages provides luxury self catering accommodation near the picturesque coastal village of Llangrannog. Situated within 2 miles of coastal path, our 4 cottages are perfect for exploring the coastline of Cardigan Bay and rolling countryside. We are between Llangrannog and New Quay, perfectly placed for exploring sandy coves, coastal villages and market towns. There is an abundance of wildlife from Red Kites to dolphins and seals often seen from the coast. A great choice of local produce whether shopping in local farm shops or eating out. It is a tranquil location with no children under the age of 14 other than babes in arms. A well behaved dog is very welcome, even a dedicated paddock to play in.

Accommodation

Our 4 cottages are all equipped to a high standard and come with a range of features, including well-equipped kitchens, king-size beds (or super king/twins), en suites, wood burners and much more. On arrival, we offer a welcome pack using local produce. Free-range eggs from our hen house are sometimes available. We have a designated area for dogs to exercise.

The Coach House Loft – Sleeps 2

We offer accommodation for up to 2 people in this converted property which still retains its original features. Inside we have an open plan area with vaulted ceilings, Ekornes leather furniture and a well equipped kitchen. You can watch the embers die down in dual aspect log burner between the living room and bedroom, perfect for romantic getaways. There is a king-size bedroom and an en suite shower room with a walk-in shower. Outside, you can soak away your troubles in the jacuzzi hot tub.

Ponycob Cottage – Sleeps 4

Our large property is great for couples or families and has been tastefully converted to offer modern accommodation. You can relax in luxury, the large open plan living area after a day sightseeing in the comfort of the Ekornes seating enjoying the smart TV. The kitchen is well equipped with a large dining table near the dual aspect wood burner. There is a king-size bedroom and a room with a super-king (or singles on request). Both rooms come with en suites with a walk-in shower or shower over bath. Outside we have a terrace area, great for a coffee whilst enjoying the setting and a private patio garden to the rear where you enjoy the dark night skies in the jacuzzi hot tub.

Snuggle Cottage – Sleeps 2

We offer accommodation for up to 2 people in Snuggle Cottage. This cottage enjoys lots of original features, including beams and lofted ceilings. You can relax in the open plan living area in front of the wood burner whilst lounging on the comfortable Ekorness sofa. The kitchen is well-equipped. A king-size bedroom includes an en suite with a walk-in shower. Outside we have a front terrace to take in the setting and a private back patio garden to unwind in the Jacuzzi hot tub.

Galleri Cottage - Sleeps 4

Our spacious cottage sleeps 4 people and is ideal for a family or romantic getaway. A large open plan living area with Ekorness sofas, smart TV and dual aspect log burner is perfect for ending the evening. The fully-equipped kitchen includes an American freezer, induction hob and dishwasher and a large oak dining table next to the dual aspect wood burner. Bedrooms consist of a king and a super-king (or made into a single on request). Both rooms come with an en suite with a large walk-in shower. Outside we have a seating area to the front and a sunken garden with its Jacuzzi hot tub and garden furniture to unwind in on a sunny day or starry nights.

Visting Dolgoy & Exploring Ceredigion

We are only 2 miles from the coastal village of Llangrannog and the cove of Cwmtydu. In Llangrannog there are pubs, beachfront cafes and sandy beaches. Locally you can enjoy lots of countryside and coastal walks, take trips dolphin spotting or explore ancient monuments. You can visit the harbour town of Aberaeron, the coastal town of New Quay. We are within an hour’s drive of Aberystwyth and a little further the city of St Davids. Attractions to visit include:
