Lundy Lodges offers wonderful self catering accommodation overlooking Painscastle village. Our lodges near Builth Wells in Powys are nestled in glorious countryside and boast stunning views over the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons.

Accommodation

Out two secluded lodges are the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life, set in rolling countryside. The lodges are finished to the highest standards and come with everything you need for a relaxing getaway.

Castle View

This fabulous lodge comes with a relaxing open plan living, kitchen and dining area to suit all your needs. The kitchen is well-equipped for home-dining and the living area comes with a toasty wood burner for those chilly days.

In total, there are two attractive bedrooms, a master super king room and a super-king zip-link bed that can be made into a twin. The master bedroom boasts a black freestanding bath to unwind in whilst savouring the views.

Outside there is an enclosed and private garden to enjoy, including a balcony, sun loungers, a large hot tub and a pizza oven.

Begwyns View

Our gorgeous lodge is perfect for a tranquil country retreat . Inside there is an open plan living room with vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and bi-folding doors that open onto countryside views. The wood burner will keep you warm in the winter months and the kitchen is fully-equipped for home-cooking.

Two comfortable bedrooms are available, a double and a twin room. Outside there is an enclosed and private garden, including a new hot tub area called Retreat Deck. You can huddle around the fire pit whilst star gazing.

Visiting Painscastle & Exploring Powys

This part of the country has lots of stunning walking and cycling routes to enjoy, offering the perfect way to admire the natural landscape. You can head into nearby Hay-on-Wye and browse the shops, eat in one of the restaurants or wander around Hay Castle. Excellent attractions to visit include:

Hay Bluff.
Twmpa.
Black Hill.
Craswall Priory.
Bryngwyn Riding Centre.
