Tree Tops in Llanfynydd offers fabulous self catering accommodation in a range of properties. Nestled in a secluded valley in the Welsh foothills near Wexham, we are ideal for a tranquil getaway in Flintshire.

Accommodation

We have an array of wonderful holiday homes to choose from, including the Lake View House, Scandinavian Houses and Garden Apartment. All the properties are beautifully furnished and great for a memorable country retreat. Onsite we also have a long established fly fishery consisting of eight lakes, the largest being 1.5 acres.

Lake View House:

This stunning house sleeps up to 10 people, great for families or a large group. The property is based in a scenic position, close to the gorgeous lake. The two storey log house boasts an upstairs roofed full width balcony, offering a great spot for a glass of wine whilst savouring the stunning views of the Llanfynydd valley and Hope Mountain.

The ground floor has a lovely open plan dining area including a well-equipped kitchen for home dining. Unwind in the cosy lounge and when the sun is shining relax on the veranda. A shower room is also available. Upstairs there is a twin, a double room and shower. A large lounge at the top of the stairs comes with a TV and sofa bed.

Scandinavian Houses:

Our fantastic houses are perfect for a secluded getaway. Inside there is a spacious living area including a kitchen and dining area. Outside there is an elevated veranda with patio furniture, perfect for a coffee in the morning sun. Downstairs there is a twin room, shower room, toilet/washroom and a drying cupboard. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms. Each house also has a BBQ for al fresco dining.

Garden Apartment:

This delightful apartment is in a separate wing of the owner’s house and is on the ground floor. A lounge/diner comes with a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, whilst the relaxing lounge has comfy seating and a TV. One door takes you from the lounge into one bedroom with 3 single beds. The other door takes you into a bedroom with three single beds. A shower room also houses the washing machine. Outside a private area with seating and BBQ is great for al fresco dining whilst admiring the field and hill views.

Visiting Llanfynydd & Exploring Flintshire

Nearby there is an abundance of picturesque walks to enjoy, offering the perfect way to admire the amazing natural landscape. A horse riding centre is only 3 miles away and 15 golf courses are within 15 miles. The famous mountain bike centre at Llandegla is around 6 miles away. A 20-minute drive will take you to Chester, home to lots of shops, attractions and restaurants. Superb attractions to visit include:

Flint Castle - Castell y Fflint.
Chester Cathedral.

Chester Roman Gardens.
