The Beach Hive offers self catering accommodation at Pevensey Bay. Our cottage in East Sussex has amazing sea views, perfect for a coastal getaway.

Our 1930s bungalow has been renovated to offer high-quality accommodation. The cottage sleeps 6 people and has been finished to the highest standards.

Inside there is an open plan living area with large windows and French doors that open onto the terrace. The room boasts wooden floors and a toasty wood burner for those chilly days. Entertainment facilities include a 42” TV with BT box & BT Sports, a DVD player with a supply of films, a music system with CD/radio/iPod dock, a small book collection.

Cook up storm in the fully-equipped kitchen that comes with a range of excellent facilities: a gas hob, electric oven and in-built microwave, washing machine, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, food mixer, kettle and toaster. Enjoy some delicious meals around the dining table that seats 8 people.

In total, there are 3 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 comes with a king size and ensuite facilities, whilst bedroom 2 has a super king size bed. Bedroom 3 has two handmade single beds. Additionally, there is a family bathroom including underfloor heating.

Outside there is a terrace area with seating for al fresco dining whilst savouring the amazing views. You can also enjoy the shingle garden with ornamental plants and the evening huddle around the fire pit whilst gazing at the starry night sky. A gate from the garden leads directly onto the shingle beach.

The shingle beach is perfect for swimming and fishing. The beach pub is great for a drink or two with your loved ones. The area also has an abundance of National Trust properties and lots of restaurants. You can enjoy diving or boat trips from Easterbourne with Channel Diving as well. Attractions to visit include:

Pevensey Castle.
Pevensey Court House Museum & Gaol.
Bay View Golf Course.
Herstmonceux Castle.
The Observatory Science Centre.
