Buckerfields Barn in Ogbourne St. George offers luxurious self catering accommodation, based in stunning countryside and surrounded by idyllic farmland. We are only 3 miles from the famous market town of Marlborough and in a great location for visiting an array of attractions in Wiltshire.

Accommodation

We have 4 apartments to choose from, all perfect for a memorable country escape. All the apartments are beautifully furnished and come with a range of high-quality facilities.

You can also enjoy the landscaped gardens that offer plenty of space to unwind whilst savouring the countryside views. Table and chairs, as well as a BBQ area, are provided for al fresco dining when the sun is shining.

Apartments 1 and 2 are on the ground floor and boast sun-filled garden rooms and a private patio. Apartment 1 has a wet room, whilst apartment 2 has a shower room. Apartments 3 and 4 are on the first floor and include relaxing sunrooms, plus a patio/sitting out area, great for a glass of wine whilst admiring the view.

Each apartment includes comfy sitting areas to relax in after a day of discovering all that Wiltshire has to offer. You can rustle up some tasty dishes in the well-equipped kitchen that includes a washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer, hob, oven, fridge/freeze & microwave. The comfortable bedrooms include king size beds or large singles.

Bike equipment storage is available.

Visiting Ogbourne St. George & Exploring Wiltshire

The local area has an abundance of picturesque walks to enjoy, offering the ideal way to take in the scenic natural landscape. Visit The Savernake Forest, Britain’s only privately owned forest or the historic market of Marlborough, which is a lovely place to explore, home to independent shops, restaurants and cafes. Attractions to visit include:

Stonehenge.
Bath.
Avebury.
Kennet & Avon Canal.
Farm shop a few miles away.
Bird life.
Walking on the Ridgeway - we have many guests who stay with us to do this.
Many fine pubs and antique shops in the area.
