Our magnificent 17th Century Grade II Listed cottage is nestled in a tranquil area of the village, boasting landscaped grounds which lead to the River Stour and offer glorious views of Ilmington Hills.Our beautifully refurbished cottage still maintains many original features whilst offering quality accommodation. You can rustle up some delicious dishes in the well-equipped beamed kitchen/dining room that includes a fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer/drier, fan/electric oven, microwave and underfloor heating.
You can unwind in the gorgeous, beamed sitting which has an open fire, sofa bed, TV, DVD player and a separate CD/iPod player/docking station. This is a great spot for relaxing in after a day of sightseeing.
Two lovely bedrooms are available, a lavish king room with antique painted furniture and a single room. The former room enjoys outstanding river and countryside views. Both rooms share a quality bathroom.
Our wonderful 3 acres of landscaped grounds are great for relaxing in on a summer’s day. You sit by the river whilst enjoying a picnic or play on the tennis court (via prior consent).
Visiting Halford & Exploring Warwickshire
We are in a brilliant location for exploring the area. Lots of stunning gardens and stately homes ae nearby. You can visit the wonderful gardens at Hidcote Manor Garden or visit majestic Blenheim Palace, home to the Duke and Duchess of Marlborough and the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. The local area has an abundance of beautiful walking and cycling routes. Further attractions to visit include:Warwick Castle.
