Myrtle's Barn in Briningham provides wonderful self catering accommodation just 4 miles from Holt, nestled in an idyllic countryside setting. Based near Melton Constable in Norfolk, our stylish barn only opened in May 2022 and is perfect for an unforgettable getaway.

Accommodation

This outstanding barn is set in the former farmyard in Briningham and can be combined with Harolds Barn to sleep 12 people, great for two families looking to holiday together in stunning countryside setting. The barn offers amazing views over the valley and fields and comes with everything you need for a relaxing stay.

Inside the barn, there are 3 beautiful en suite bedrooms. The upstairs master room has magnificent high ceilings and a king-size bed. The second upstairs bedroom also has high ceilings and a super king bed which can be split into two singles. A downstairs super king bed which can be split into a twin. Each bedroom has superb furniture, Velux windows, plenty of cupboard storage and quality bed linen.

A glorious open plan living room offers many striking features, including a high ceiling and glass-sided oak staircase. Unwind in the cosy living area which has seating, a 50’’ flat-screen TV and a wood burner for the winter months. Adjacent to the living area is a fantastic dining table from Neptune which seats 6 people, great for enjoying some home-cooked delights on.

The fully equipped kitchen has been exquisitely designed by a local kitchen company (Arcadia) and manufactured by Siematic in Germany. Excellent appliances include a Bora integrated hob, bottle fridge, huge Bosch fridge freezer, Bosch integrated double oven and microwave and integrated dishwasher and a washing machine/tumble dryer.

Outside there is a fenced garden and large patio with Bramblecrest outdoor dining furniture, great for a coffee in the morning sun whilst savouring the view.

Visiting Briningham & Exploring Norfolk

We are in the perfect location for discovering all that the area has to offer. Norfolk is renowned for its breathtaking countryside, amazing beaches, stunning forests and Broads National Park. Enjoy visiting one of the wonderful National Trust properties or take the family to one of the many zoos in the area. Excellent attractions to visit include:
