Accommodation

Our fabulous cottage is ideal for the ultimate country escape. The cottage has been tastefully converted from old farm buildings to provide comfortable and relaxing accommodation.

The cottage is brimming with rustic charm, offering gorgeous beams and arched windows. This ground-level cottage comes with a cosy living area including a flatscreen TV, a DVD player, CD Hi-Fi and DAB radio. Rustle up some delicious dishes in the well-equipped kitchen which comes with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, washer and dishwasher.

A super king-size en suite bedroom can be split into a twin and come with a flat-screen TV. The en suite wet room has disabled access. A further twin room includes and en suite shower.

Outside there is a lovely south-facing garden with a patio and furniture, great for a morning coffee whilst savouring the stunning countryside views.

Visiting Bishop Auckland & Exploring Durham

We are in the ideal location for exploring the area, with the cities of Durham, Newcastle and York and the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and East Coast all accessible by car. A shop and pub are only a mile away. You can visit Durham’s famous castle and cathedral or stroll around the gorgeous landscape at Low Barnes Nature Reserve. The local area also boasts an excellent range of country pubs and restaurants, ideal for relaxing in after a day taking in the sights. Further attractions to visit include:
