Shepherds Views Holidays in Holmrook offers self catering accommodation in three charming properties. Based in a tranquil part of Cumbria, we are the perfect play to escape from the pressures of modern life.

We have 3 beautifully furnished cottages to choose from, nestled in a scenic part of West Cumbria on our working farm. You can choose from The Old Bakehouse, The Old Farmhouse and Dairymaids Cottage. All the cottages are well-equipped and each boasts a hot tub to soak your troubles away in. The cottage also shares a courtyard with its own patio and seating, great for a coffee in the afternoon sun.

The cottage dates from the 18th Century and is brimming with character, including original slate floors. The cottage has been beautifully converted and includes 2 zip and link bed which can be made as super kings or twin beds. A downstairs wet room includes a walk-in shower, toilet and washbasin. Unwind in the cosy open plan living/dining/kitchen are which includes a dishwasher and machine.

This 18th Century farmhouse has been tastefully converted into a 3 bedroom property to sleeps 6 people. The 2 master bedrooms have zip & link beds which can be made as a superking or twin bed, whilst the other bedroom are twin beds. Downstairs there is a wet room with a walk-in shower, toilet and washbasin. Upstairs there is a further toilet and washbasin. A large open plan living/dining/kitchen comes with a dishwasher and washing machine.

You can savour the amazing natural scenery whilst staying with us. There are an abundance of scenic walks and cycle routes in the area, including glorious routes around the Lake District Mountains & Wasdale & Eskdale Valleys. Only a 5-minute walk away are stunning sandy beaches and further afield there are lots of picturesque town/villages to visit. Attractions to visit include:

Scafell Pike.
Eskdale and Wasdale Valleys.
