Fletchers Combe offers fabulous accommodation in South Hams, set in a gorgeous countryside position. Our two properties in Devon are perfect for a magical holiday, great for family getaways, short breaks or hen weekends.

We have two wonderful properties two choose from. Fletchers Combe Barns sleeps 14 guests in 7 bedrooms, whilst Fletchers Combe Farmhouse sleeps 9 guests in 4 bedrooms. Both properties can be combined to sleep 24 guests, plus 4 guests. The Barns and Farmhouse are nestled in a truly breathtaking countryside location, with over 90 acres of land surrounding Fletchers, including idyllic streams, tranquil walks and scenic trails. We also host an array of courses, from literary weekends to yoga retreats.

The House

Our glorious Farmhouse offers the ultimate country retreat. The property boasts gorgeous period features blended with modern facilities to offer quality accommodation. Inside there is an elegant lounge with a toasty wood-burning stove and comfy settees to unwind on after a day in the countryside. The fully equipped kitchen is great for home-cooking and includes a fantastic Aga.

On the first floor, there are four bedrooms: one four poster en suite, two doubles, one twin, plus a separate bathroom. Outside there is an enclosed garden to the front and side, as well as a walled graveled courtyard with outdoor furniture and a large Cortern steel outdoor fire pit with Adirondack chairs by the boating & wild swimming pond. You can also soak away your troubles in the luxury hot tub.

The Barns

The Barns are ideal for a large gathering with friends or family. The spacious property has a variety of individually furnished rooms that combines period furniture with superb contemporary pieces. The lounge comes with a wood burner for the winter months and there is also an additional TV lounge to unwind in. You can create a delicious feast in the well-equipped kitchen. The bedrooms consist of two king en-suites, three doubles (one with an en-suite) and two twins. There are also two separate family bathrooms and one w/c. Outside there is a lovely terrace area with outdoor furniture, a large outdoor fire pit and two BBQs: a Weber 3-burner gas and a charcoal kettle BBQ. There is also a hot tub to soak away your troubles in.

There is a shared games room with table tennis/football, pool and darts. Children will love the play area and treehouse. Both properties have separate, private gardens and car parks.

Visiting South Hams & Exploring Devon

We are set in a peaceful rural valley only 5 minutes from the main Tones to Kingsbridge road linking to Dartmouth, Salcombe and the gorgeous beaches of South Hams. Nearby there are lots of great pubs and restaurants to enjoy. The coastal town of Kingsbridge Estuary is great for sailing or relaxing on the water, whilst Dartmouth is home to interesting shops and great seafood. Visit majestic Buckfast Abbey or savour the views of the River Dart at the top of Totnes Castle. Brilliant attractions to visit include:
