Dickinson Place Holiday Cottages in Allonby offers superb self catering accommodation. We are based in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near Maryport and perfect for a tranquil stay in Cumbria.

Accommodation

We have 6 cottages to choose from, sleeping between 2 – 6 people. All the cottages are based in a courtyard setting and enjoy an individual character.

Many of the cottages retain original features including cobbled walls and oak beams. We provide a welcome pack of wine, luxury biscuits and milk. Facilities include a laundry room, games/information room and refuse and recycling facilities.

Each cottage comes with a living area including Freeview TV, a DVD player, CD player, radio and Bluetooth. The well-equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances: an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave and undercounter fridge/freezer. Turpin House also has a dishwasher.

Barley Cottage

Our cottage sleeps 5 in 1 king, 1 twin and 1 single. The rooms share a bathroom with a cast iron claw foot bath and a separate shower cubicle.

Engine House

We offer accommodation for up to 6 people in 1 king en suite, 1 double and 1 twin. The bathroom has a cast iron claw foot bath and downstairs there is a further WC.

Turnip House

Our cottage sleeps 3 in 1 king and 1 single. The rooms share a bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC on the ground floor.

Eighteen Byre

We offer accommodation for up to 6 people in 1 king, 1 double and 1 twin. The rooms share a bathroom with a shower over the bath and a wet room.

Eight Byre

Our property sleeps 2 in a studio double bed and the bathroom has a shower over the bath.

Milking Parlour

We offer accommodation for up to 4 people in 1 king and 1 twin. The rooms share a bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Visting Allonby & Exploring Cumbria

You can discover all that Allonby has to offer whilst staying with us. Visit the sandy beach or head to the Lake District for beautiful walks. Play a round at one of the local golf courses or cycle along The Solway Coaster route. Just 15 minutes from us is Whinlatter Forest. Attractions to visit include:

National Trust - Wordsworth House and Garden.
