The Granary Cottages offers self catering just outside of the famous seaside town of Whitby, situated in a beautiful part of the North York Moors. Our 4 cottages are based at Bannial Flatts Farm, perfect for a tranquil countryside escape.
Accommodation
Our cottages are located in a sandstone barn, with the properties sleeping between 4 – 8 people. All the cottages can be booked to sleep 22 in total. Each barn comes with double/twin bedrooms, a spacious shared garden, a patio with garden furniture for al fresco dining, underfloor heating, luxury bed linen, DAB radio and a 40’’ flat-screen TV. All the properties have a fully-equipped kitchen which has an integrated fridge/freezer, electric oven, hob and extractor, a dishwasher and washing machine, microwave, kettle and toaster.Cottage One - Sleeps 6
This cottage offers a modern style and sleeps 6 in 1 king and 2 twin rooms. Unwind in the cosy living/dining area which has a flat-screen TV/DVD player and comfortable seating. Cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen.Cottage Two - Sleeps 4

Our cottage is ideal for a special group or family holiday, sleeping 8 in 2 double rooms, a master en suite and a twin room. One of the doubles is on the ground floor. The seaside town of Whitby is 1.5 miles away and offers lots of attractions, including the renowned Abbey and Whalebone Arch, the East and West Piers, St. Mary's Church and the 199 Steps. You can browse the shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, or sunbathe on the sandy beach. Lots of boats offer scenic cruises down the coast. Attractions to visit include:Captain Cook Memorial Museum.
