Pheasant at Wheatacre Hall Barns provides self catering accommodation in Beccles near Lowestoft. We are based on a dairy and arable farm in a beautiful part of Norfolk. Further afield you can visit lots of attractions in the area, including Norwich’s famous cathedral.

Accommodation

Our property is one of our two recent conversions and great for a romantic getaway, with lots of luxurious touches provided. The barn has been converted from a traditional Norfolk cart shed barn and includes an open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area with oak beams and leather sofas, combining contemporary stylings to the traditional building. From the property you can savour amazing views.

The kitchen is fully-equipped for home cooking and an iPod docking station is great for music fans. The master bedroom has a super king-size bed which can be made into a twin, whilst sumptuous bed linen is provided. The bathroom has a glorious spa bath and a separate shower, toilet and WC.

Visiting Beccles & Exploring Norfolk

45 minutes away by car is BeWILDerwood, an award-winning adventure park with magical treehouses and zip wires. Caldecott Hall offers a range of facilities, as well as an 18-hole golf course. The sandy beaches and attractions are nearby and we are a great base for discovering Norfolk and Suffolk. Africa Alive is home to one of the UK’s largest wildlife attractions and a great day out for families. Nearby attractions include:
